Construct-O-Set: The Vision

Our goal is to create interactive building sets for all ages.

We want to develop age-appropriate building sets for the iPhone (including iPod Touch) and iPad by using great graphics and good software to ensure hours of entertainment, with a bit of educational component.

Description of Toddler version

Construct-O-Set for Toddlers is aimed at small children who are keen on playing with building block sets consisting of basic shapes like circles, squares, triangles, etc. Construct-O-Set consists of the following building block sets with more to follow: "Boat Set", "Car Set", "House Set", "Rocket Set" and a "Train Set".

Construct-O-Set has two game modes namely:

"Building Sets Mode" : This is the main game mode whereby the player builds up a picture based on a stencil (similar to coloring in a picture) out of a set of given shapes. Building sets mode is focused on developing hand-eye coordination, shape recognition skills as well as basic puzzle solving.

"Free Draw Mode" : This game mode gives kids a chance to create interesting drawings using a set of shapes, it also allows their creations to be saved on the camera roll of the phone, for their parents and friends to enjoy. Free draw mode is focused on developing creativity.

Parents will enjoy watching their little ones complete the building sets, or use the free draw mode and show off their creations captured to the camera roll of the iPhone.

Instructions

For each set, a semi-transparent picture of the completed set will be shown.

One shape at a time will appear, and then you can select this shape and drag it to where it belongs.

It will snap into place, and the next shape will appear, until the set is complete.
